You read that right.

I was so harried rushing out the door this afternoon…I forgot my camera!

So, how are you guys?  Good?

Finally! I found a PBJ Larabar!

Here’s the deal.  Even though I fail at being a food blogger, Em — my awesometastic food blogger in the making — remembered her camera.

Once she emails those pictures to me, I’ll be sure to post them!

However, lunch was a blast.  Em and I went to my favorite Mexican restaurant, Pachanga’s.

We also shared this Chocolate Coffee Jocalat bar.

We had our share of chips with cabbage salsa, then shared the fajita salad and the sope.

Oh, my.  The sope was so good!  Fried masa, whole beans, spicy rice, and piles of cabbage and the best guacamole ever.

Afterward, we debated on what we wanted for dessert.  As two foodies, there was no question.

Organic pink lady apple. So sweet and crisp and juicy!

We paid for our meal, then sped off to the local Co-op.

There, I said goodbye to a large chunk of my wallet as I spotted 99 cent Larabars and 1.29$ Jocalats.

Heck yes!  It was like Christmas day.

We also shared an unpictured Chocolate Mint Jocalat.  Best dessert ever, thank you very much.

Coconut milk ice cream and gluten free ice cream cones. I'm spoiled, plain and simple.

Then my amazing and wonderful friend spotted gluten-free ice cream cones.

My life changed forever.

I can’t even recall the last time I had an ice cream cone, but to me, it’s the only way to eat ice cream.

Needless to say, my tummy is in its happy place right now.  Thank you, Em! ❤

And, since I don’t have any pictures of my lunch, here’s a bonus picture for you:

My little Osito loves his ice cream.

Sorry.  That’s the most dorktastic picture ever, isn’t it?

At least it’s proof that I really am a person and not some robot-alien, right?

But yes, that’s Oso.  He has a fixation with peanut butter and coconut milk ice cream.  He doesn’t like real dairy, for the record.

Only coconut milk ice cream.

And he hops into my lap while I’m eating, in hopes that I might slip him some butternut squash, or a bean, or a taste of my peanut butter.

Or, on those really special days, ice cream.

On the subject of food shopping — tonight is grocery night (yay!).  I love trying new things, even despite my Swiss chard fail.  I tend to stick with familiar things, though.  Do you have something new to recommend that I should buy tonight, perhaps a new vegetable that you tried recently and enjoyed?

Thanks for reading!
